In the last quarter of 2013, Samsung launched many new smartphones which were not having high end specifications but were running on the Android Jelly Bean operating system which is a good feature.
One similar smartphone launched last year was Samsung Galaxy Star Pro which has got a better design (at least from other Galaxy smartphones) and available at a very affordable price.
If you go out in the market searching for a smartphone which comes in ultra affordable category then Galaxy Star Pro can be your first choice. I’ll provide a genuine review of this device here so that you can know whether it is worth of its price tag or not.
Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Review

I was really impressed with the quality design Galaxy Star Pro was having at this price range. It looks elegant and better in the mid night black color, though it is also available in pure white color.
It got speaker on the top, Samsung branding and DUOS logo as it supports DUAL SIM cards. There are two capacitive touch buttons down the display with a physical home button in between of them.
The rear part is also clean and simple in design. It got rear camera with loudspeaker and another Samsung branding. Rests of the things are simple and clean of the design. It also feels good to hold this device.
Galaxy Star Pro holds on to a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels which has been added on TFT panel. The display is good and works well in different viewing angles and also under direct sunlight.
The display part is good but don’t expect it to be as better as other high end smartphones.
Galaxy Star Pro runs on Cortex A5 CPU which is clocked at 1GHz and provided with 512MB of internal RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The performance of the device was good as I was expecting to be.
Samsung has uploaded Galaxy Star Pro with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system which is another good feature and the one which helps the device to provide better performance.
The look of the software is as any other Samsung smartphone and the complete software part was good. Multi tasking was can also experienced on it but it failed to run quality games as it got only 512MB of RAM.
It got 2MP rear camera which is just a basic one for letting you take pictures and share on the social networks in case you’re not carrying a camera.

It supports dual SIM cards but there is no 3G option. The device also doesn’t have GPS sensor but accelerometer is there. These two features are a big miss in the device but there are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB port for additional data connectivity options.
The Galaxy Star Pro is capable to provide battery life for one day (but not that easily) as it holds on to 1500mAh battery. Overall performance, battery life and design quality is better than any other smartphone in this price range.
