Nokia Lumia 1320 Review

I’m starting the review of Nokia Lumia 1320 down here so that you can know whether to go for this device or not though you may have already selected it as your next smartphone.

Nokia Lumia 1320 Review

The design of the device is awesome and very elegant just like any other Lumia smartphone. The edges are curved, back side is super clean and the display is stretched to the corners.

The display size is 6 inch which supports resolution of 720×1280 pixels along with multi touch feature. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display looks awesome but it would have been brighter and better if the resolution was full HD.

The content is visible through various viewing angles and the ClearBlack display software of the Nokia further increases the display quality. Nokia has used IPS LCD display in this phablet.

The CPU is charged by Snapdragon S4’s Dual Core processor which is clocked at 1.7GHz. The CPU is further supported by Adreno 305 GPU which manages the graphics part. The CPU and GPU are provided with 1GB of RAM which is good enough for Windows Phone OS while the internal storage is 8GB. The storage expansion option is also available. The performance was good of the device and all high quality games and apps were working fine on it.

The device runs on latest GDR 3 version of Microsoft Windows Phone 8 OS (Black) and the software performance was as usual great though it was missing lots of apps which on the other hand Android and iOS got. Accelerometer, proximity, GPS and compass sensors are the in the device.

The rear side has got 5MP camera with LED flash along with front VGA facing camera. The rear camera has got touch focus feature and it is capable of recording full HD quality videos. The photos I took with it were of good quality as I was expecting from a 5MP camera and the camera software was also good.

The LTE is there in the device which is an awesome and must have feature these days and it off course supports 3G and 2G well. The Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port are also there as secondary data connectivity options.

Wrap up

With a battery life of 21 hours over 3G network, Nokia Lumia 1320 is surely a great phone which is completely full of enough power to make out a day easily. The battery cell inside has got 3400mAh rating.

Overall, the device is good and it’s definitely among the best mid range phablets available in the market right now. You will only hate this phone if you care too much to have either Android or iOS running phone.
